Evangelism Training Day

We believe that each of us is called to witness to the sovereignty, majesty and love of God in our daily lives, just as the apostle Paul was (1 Cor 9:16).

However, each of us has been blessed with different gifts in relation to evangelism. Some find it ‘easy’ to share the Lord with everyone whom they meet, whilst others never feel that they have got quite the right words at the right time.   For this reason, we run occasional days for informal training. They provide an opportunity for people to come together in an informal setting to consider what it’s important to say – and what not to say – when sharing the gospel with someone.   The day is split into 3 sessions:

  1. Personal Testimony – An opportunity to practice sharing your own testimony and being blessed by hearing others’ testimonies.
  2. Sharing the Gospel – How would you share the gospel with somebody in 3 minutes? What would you include, what would you exclude? What does the Bible have to say about it?
  3. Answering Difficult Questions – A chance to discuss common questions and learn helpful ways of answering them.
